Bart Jacobs receives Gebhartprijs at PNS 2025

Aug 15, 2025 - Last May, Bart Jacobs received the Gebhartprijs at the Peripheral Nerve Society conference in Edinburgh, Scotland.  

Professor Jacobs received the price for his ongoing work on GBS. Together with other members of the Erasmus MC Neuromuscular Research Group he attended the PNS which was in Edinburgh, Scotland this year. The conference proved to be both productive and insightful. The IGOS team delivered several presentations and posters, addressing areas like biomarkers, patient-reported outcomes and comparative effectiveness research.

An IGOS consortium meeting and an IGOS biobank meeting were organized during the event as well, bringing together researchers from the GBS field to discuss future projects.
